Shalayna Hatched
Shalayna Hatched, MS., BCBA, is an Atlanta native, who currently serves her community as a Behavior Analyst. Her role in behavioral healthcare is a passion that extends well beyond her title. It is her gift to those who may find themselves misunderstood or families who are seeking better ways to build a healthy environment for their children. She founded Gateway Community Care to provide caregivers with a break from a daunting day-to-day life in addition to a plethora of services to enhance the wellbeing of those needing her care. Shalayna received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Georgia State University. Additionally, she also earned her master’s degree from the institution in applied behavior analysis. Her educational pursuits would also lead to her becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
For more than 10 years, she has devoted her time and talent to working closely with families through parent training, language development, skill acquisition, and behavior reduction. The company was created because of an overwhelming passion for changing people’s lives, patience to care for those who need it the most, and experience with families with no in-home support. In the future, she plans to reach more children with programs and necessary resources.
